BASC -Business Alliance for Secure Commerce-, is an international alliance to promote secure commerce, cooperating with international governments and organisms.

It is incorporated under the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, as a non-profit organization called “World BASC Organization”.

WBO is an organization led by the entrepreneurial sector, with the mission of facilitating and expediting international commerce by establishing and administrating global security standards and procedures applied to the international commerce logistics chain.

This organization is open to worldwide entrepreneurs convinced of working with a common purpose, which is to enforce international commerce in an agile and safe way, by applying internationally acknowledged and sponsored security standards and procedures.

Objectives of the Conference

	Strengthen cooperation bonds between the Private sector and the international organisms in charge of control and security.	The Americas Customs Directors meeting will take place simultaneously with the IV BASC World Conference and will be held at the same hotel; said meeting is promoted by the World Customs Organization (WCO) and organized by the Panama Customs General Direction.   Concurring activities will promote the interaction with high-level officers along the Americas Customs offices.
	Promote personal Entrepreneurial contact with multiple Customs representatives of America present in the Summit.
	Encourage the standardization of security processes along the international commerce logistics chain.
	Assess the impact of regulations oriented to increase security in the international commerce logistics chain.
	Introduce changes made to BASC standards pursuant with new international commerce security regulations.
	Promote and strengthen commercial relationships between BASC companies (Exporters, Importers and their logistics chain).

It is a wonderful opportunity to share experiences with Latin American entrepreneurs, BASC members, officers of different Governments, and Customs representative of America and Europe.
