Visit to Colon Free Zone
• Colon as multimodal logistics center

The city of Colon is a place you must visit throughout your stay in the Republic of Panama; the most active sea ports in the region and the free zone, which is the second largest free zone in the world, are two tourist attractions you cannot miss. We have, therefore, scheduled a visit to Colon as follows:

06:15 Departure from Gamboa Rainforest Resort to railroad station
07:00-08:00 Train tour to Colon
08:10-10:30 Land tour to Manzanillo International Terminal, including a general presentation on the port and its logistics
Land tour to Colon Container Terminal (Evergreen), including a general presentation on the port and its logistics
10:30-12:20 Luncheon - Buffet served at the Melia Panama Canal Hotel (includes beverage)
12:30-14:00 Arrival to Colon Free Zone and presentation “Colon as Multimodal Logistics Center”. Participants may visit the Free Zone immediately after the presentation.
14:00-16:00 Departure from Free Zone, returning to railroad station
Train tour to Panama City
16:15-18:00 Arrival to Gamboa Rainforest Resort

Land tours will be made on a fully equipped bus with air conditioning and reclining seats. Value: US $130 pe person
